MOVIE SESSIONS: Football.. Into The Woods!

Yesterday was a awesome! :D For those who were not aware, UST just removed football in the goodwill games. We were all devastated. lalo na sa mga first timer, like me :D haha. We were just introduced to football last year, in PE. haahaha. We really enjoyed it and tend to joke around "Tara sali tayo sa varsity next year!" And then, we did. HAHA. We're now a part of the Commerce Football Team <3

And soo.. The football community organized an event called "Football Festival". Grabe!! super saya namin! :D We all missed playing football. Sana meron ulit ^_^

After Football, I met with these two amazing people <3 We haven't got a chance to really hang out since last year, if I'm not mistaken. I truly missed them!

We strolled around Robinsons Magnolia then we decided, we want to try something new. Soo.. we ate at Classic Savory. I've heard a lot of positive comments about this restaurant.

Rate: 9/10

The food is great! :) I ordered a classic chicken with chopsuey and yangchow rice. The rice is lovely! The reason for a rate of 9 is because it's just that I'm not fully satisfied. They lack in service. It was hard to call their attention when we're getting our orders and the same goes for billing out. we waited for 30 mins. just to get our bill out! they served first the customers who came after us and it was just disappointing.

Theeeen.. We watched INTO THE WOODS!

Rate: 15/10

It was MAGNIFICENT! Oh my good Lord, it was WONDERFULLY TREMENDOUS! Yeah, I'm making up my own words now because it was unexplainable how great it was. First, I didn't get to watch the trailer. All I see are teaser posters so I really have no idea about the storyline. And I had no idea that it was a MUSICAL! Haha I was soo happy. I LOVE the storyline. How they connected the fairytales., how the characters met at a certain point. The movie really spoke a lot of message. The movie did not only portray the children fairytales but also incorporated a lot of life lessons. It spoke for true love, reality, family, independence, etc. It was soo great! I love ALL the lines of the character. IT's truly a MUST WATCH movie ;)

I've been to some cinemas where there is poor service like very low aircondition to the point where I'm about to sweat, light's are still on even after the first 15 mins. of the movie, and poor sound system. But the cinema here is great! It has removable arm rests so that you could cuddle with your friends while watching. The seats are comfy, nice conditioning of the place. And on the pre-purchase side, I like how they reserve the seats (with the seat number) as you buy them which means you don't have to be early to go in the cinema to get the best seat, you don't have to worry if you'll lose a seat once you're late. It's a little expensive , though. But really worth it :D

FOOD TRIP SERIES: University Scoop Experience

University Scoop a.k.a UScoop has been one of the "must-try list" ng mga kainan sa UST. Hindi ka daw tunay na Thomasian kung hindi ka pa nakakakain dito and in my 3 years of stay here in UST. first time ko siyang ma-try last night :D

I was with my friend, Chrysta. Inalok ko siya and first time niya rin kumain dito haha. All we know are hearsay kasi kaya we want to try for ourselves.

Rate: 7/10

First, I ordered the liempo dish, which is their best seller and I'm not gonna lie, sooobrang sarap talaga :D as in haha. Second, I was gonna give an 8/10 pero kasi hindi ko gusto yung service nila. Aside from medyo mabagal, parang hindi welcoming yung aura nung service crew. I don't know if yung nagserve lang samin yung ganun but still, heterogeneity is a must in a service management. And kadalasan service ang nagdadala sa isang place. Kung bakit binabalik-balikan ng mga tao ang store mo. Another is yung ice cream. From what I know, ito ang talagang pinupuntahan sa UScoop. Dito sila kilala. And we're very excited to try one. It looks good, and maganda yung presentation, kaya lang it tastes the same with any regular ice cream. I guess I expected too much haha. I thought kasi may kakaiba dito. Or maybe I've tried something better na kasi in the past kaya nacocompare ko siya dun.

But all in all Okay naman siya :) kasali talaga ang disappointment minsan to fully experience a Food Trip Session haha :D I'll be posting some of my past Food Trip Sessions to share my experience on all the must-try foods here in the Philippines ^^
